Correct Procedures:
1. Mold Pretreatment: Clean the mold interior and evenly apply a release agent (motor oil or specialized release oil) to prevent concrete from sticking.
2. Mounting: Attach the molds together and secure with bolts or clips, ensuring tight joints (to prevent grout leakage).
3. Concrete Pouring: Pour the concrete in layers, vibrating with a vibrator every 30 cm to remove air bubbles (to prevent honeycombing).
4. Curing: Cover with plastic wrap to retain moisture and cure at room temperature for 24-48 hours. In winter, insulation measures (such as covering with a blanket) are required.
5. Demolding and Cleaning: When the concrete strength reaches 70% or above (approximately 1-3 days), remove the fixings and gently tap the sides of the mold to release it.
6. After demolding, clean any remaining concrete from the mold surface and inspect for damage.
Precautions:
Steel molds should be kept away from rain or direct sunlight to prevent rust. Plastic molds should be kept away from direct sunlight to prevent aging and cracking.
When demolding, avoid hitting the mold edges with hard objects to prevent deformation.
