The Core Features Of The Drainage Pipe Mold

1. Strongly targeted product adaptability
The drainage pipe mold needs to accurately match the core characteristics of tubular product, presenting significant differences in specifications and interface adaptability:
• Extensive coverage of specifications: The mold adapts to pipes with diameters ranging from small-di DN100 to large-diameter DN2400, with lengths that can be customized according to demand (typically 1-2m, extendable special scenarios), and it needs to match the production needs of drainage pipes with different load grades such as Class I and Class II. For example, a centrifugal pipe mold a nominal diameter of 150cm and a length of 2m must strictly correspond to the structural design of the reinforced concrete pipe.
• Precise interface type adapt: According to the installation needs of the drainage pipe, the mold needs to form multiple interface shapes such as flat mouth, tenon, and socket and spigot types, and end mold size of each interface has strict tolerance control. For example, the socket end mold size D4 of the socket and spigot interface has a limit deviation of ±1 ±3mm, ensuring sealing and leak-proof performance during installation.

2. Process adaptability of structural design
The mold structure is deeply bound to the drainage pipe forming, forming different designs such as centrifugal, suspended roller, and vertical vibration:
• Centrifugal mold: A high-speed rotation (800-100r/min) structure is used, with a barrel seam gap of no more than 0.5mm, and the concrete is compacted into shape through centrifug force, with a daily output of up to 80-100 sections, especially suitable for the efficient production of small-diameter pipes such as DN30-DN800. Some high-end molds are equipped with intelligent speed regulation systems, which can correct the centrifugal force parameters in real time to reduce the scrap.
• Suspended roller mold: The seam gap is controlled within 1mm, with an adjustable shaft sleeve design, and the concrete is formed by rotating and extruding the suspended roller shaft, with the uniformity error of the pipe wall thickness can be controlled within ±2mm, far exceeding the national standard of ±5mm, suitable for the of large-diameter high-precision pipes above DN1200.
• Vertical vibration mold: Equipped with a vibration motor with a frequency of 200-3200 times/min at the bottom, with an open structure, the equipment cost is only 1/3 of the suspended roller type, suitable for production of non-standard irregular drainage pipes, but the vibration structure needs to be optimized to reduce the impact of manual operation on efficiency.

3. Synergy of material and process

It is necessary to balance the forming pressure, abion resistance, and cost, forming a diversified scheme:

• Concrete pipe mold: The mainstream uses Q345B low-alloy high-strength structural steel with a steel plate thickness of 12-15mm (far exceeding the 8mm standard of inferior molds), and the deformation resistance is increased by 4%. After surface treatment such as chrome plating or nano-ceramic coating, the inner wall smoothness can reach Ra0.8μm, the demoulding resistance is by 30%, and the service life is extended from 2 years to 5 years.

• Plastic/metal pipe mold: Made of high-quality mold steel it is designed for the injection molding process with a diversion channel system to ensure that the melt fills the complex structure such as multiple interfaces and reinforcing ribs evenly. For precision such as automobile drainage pipes, it is also necessary to configure multiple slider, inclined top, etc., to achieve integrated molding
